Small-batch brands compete against enormous ones on the same shelf. Trying to look big is a losing game — it just looks like a cheap imitation of a big brand.
The better move is to look unmistakably hand-made without looking amateur, which is a narrow line.
Hand-drawn botanical illustrations, a lot of white space, and one flat colour per scent. Mint and citrus, lavender, lemon fresh — each bottle is a different colour and the same design.
