Short version: I collect only what's strictly needed to reply to you and run this site. I don't sell, share or rent your data. Ever.

Who I am

This site is run by Vinay Kumar, trading as Vingraphix · a solo design + engineering studio based in Bengaluru, India. Email: hello@vingraphix.com.

What I collect

When you fill the contact form

• Your name and email · to reply
• Service interest and message · to understand the brief
• IP address and timestamp · for spam protection (kept 2 hours, then deleted)

When you visit any page

• Anonymous page-view count · daily totals only. No tracking cookies, no user profile, no fingerprint.
• Standard server logs · IP, user-agent, referrer (Hostinger default, kept ~30 days).

When you log into admin

• Session cookie · httpOnly, SameSite=Lax, secure on HTTPS. Expires after 4 hours of inactivity.
• Login attempts · counted per-session to enforce a 5-strike lockout.

What I don't collect

• No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar)
• No advertising trackers
• No cross-site cookies
• No social media plugins that phone home

How I use it

Your enquiry data is used only to respond to you and follow up on the project. If we work together, contact details may be retained in invoicing records for tax purposes (legally required in India for 8 years).

If we don't work together within 12 months, your contact details get archived and stop appearing in active dashboards.

Where it lives

All data is stored in a single SQLite database on the same server that hosts this site (Hostinger, India region). No third-party SaaS holds your data.

Backups are taken weekly and stored encrypted on the same hosting account. No data leaves India unless you explicitly request a transfer.

Who I share with

Nobody. Your data is not shared, sold, rented, or made available to any third party, with two narrow exceptions:

• Email infrastructure · Hostinger's SMTP servers process the transactional reply emails I send back to you. They don't read or retain the content beyond transit.
• Legal compliance · if compelled by a valid Indian court order, I'll comply. You'd be notified unless I'm legally barred from doing so.

Your rights

You can ask me to:

• See what data I hold about you
• Correct anything wrong
• Delete everything (subject to tax-record retention if we've invoiced)
• Export it in JSON

Email hello@vingraphix.com with the subject "Data request". I aim to reply within 7 days.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie only: the PHP session cookie, used solely for admin login. It's not set for public visitors. No tracking, no advertising, no consent banner needed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
