Speak a note on the watch, and it lands in a vault you own — plain files, Obsidian-compatible, no lock-in. Recall works the other way: ask for something and it finds the thread.
Note apps fail at the only moment that matters. The thought arrives while you are walking, driving or mid-conversation, and by the time a laptop is open the thought has gone or been flattened into something duller.
The second problem is the exit. Anything worth trusting with years of thinking has to be something you can walk away from with your notes intact.
Capture moved to the wrist. Speak a note on the watch and it lands without a phone in the loop — the watch app runs standalone over WiFi rather than acting as a remote control for something in your pocket.
