MemoRouter

iOS & watchOS App 2026 Personal product
MemoRouter

"A memory vault you can talk to from your wrist."

A native iOS and watchOS app built on the idea behind Obsidian — a vault that helps you jot a thought the moment it arrives, and recall it later.

the brief

MemoRouter started from a frustration with note apps: the moment you have the thought is never the moment you can open a laptop. So the capture point moved to the wrist.

Speak a note on the watch, and it lands in a vault you own — plain files, Obsidian-compatible, no lock-in. Recall works the other way: ask for something and it finds the thread.

the tricky bit

A watch has no keyboard, a few seconds of attention, and a battery you cannot spend. Voice capture has to be instant and forgiving, and it cannot depend on a phone being in the room.

And a memory vault is only useful if you trust it, which means the notes have to stay yours in a format that outlives the app.

what I did

The watch app runs standalone over Wi-Fi, so there is no phone in the loop. You raise your wrist, speak, and it is filed.

Storage is a plain-file vault in the Obsidian shape — readable in any editor, syncable to your own Drive. Nothing about it needs this app to survive.

The images here are brand visuals for the identity: navy with a violet route-mark. Real screen captures are coming.
